Process is designed to fit into existing juice processing lines dedicated to the production of low pulp citrus juices. Usually those systems discard pulp separated in finishers and dekanters. These wastes still contain very interesting amounts of juice solids and are a primary source of dietary fiber. Our system affords to recover most part of soluble solids contained as by-product (solids that can be blended "in-line" in the juice stream) and to produce by means of a specific dryers high quality citrus fiber for human consumption.

We want to stress that the fiber is directly coming from the juice and does not contain any part derived from peels.

Product is obtained from finishers and / or dekanters and consists of edible pulp and fruit cells  from the endocarp of whole and sound citrus.

Pulp and cells are pressed on a special item to recover most part of juice still contained and, then, dried on a special dryer.

The products has a coarse powdery yellow appearance with a quite neutral orange taste.

In the production are not used components or processing aids that contain genetically modified material and the product does not contain any other substance than those naturally occurring in citrus fruits and in no occasion it can be in contact with nuts, nuts oils or any nut derivative.
